Kenny joined the Journey staff in 2023 as the student ministries director. He’s been a member of The Journey since 2019 where he served as a Deacon for 3 years before coming on staff. In 2024, Kenny was hired full time as the Pastor of Students and Outreach and oversees anything related to our building. He is currently enrolled in The Leadership Academy which is a 3 year ministry education track where he’s continuing to grow and using that education to further the Kingdom in all aspects of his life.

As the student pastor, Kenny leads a junior high and high school worship gathering for students from any community to come and worship together on Sunday nights. This gathering is more geared toward outreach for Journey students to invite their unchurched friends. On Sunday mornings, Kenny leads a deeper study with students who have that desire to go deeper in their relationship with Christ.

As pastor over outreach, Kenny puts together events throughout the year that allows The Journey family to love on our local communities. He’s very passionate about reaching far from God people and comes up with very creative ways to connect people to Christ through outreach.

Kenny married his high school sweetheart, Madison in 2017. They live in Germantown where he continues to pour into his local community. Kenny leads an FCA huddle each week at Valley View High School for the varsity football team. As an alumni of Valley View who played in multiple sports in high school, he loves to give back and encourage students to take steps to walk with Jesus.
