1 Thessalonians 5:12-22

Six habits of those who are preparing for Christ’s return

1. DON’T QUIT rejoicing.
   (verse 16)
   God never gives a command that he does not resource us so that we can obey it.
2. DON’T QUIT praying.
   (verse 17)
   Have a continual attitude of prayer.
3. DON’T QUIT thanking.
   (verse 18)
   It is spiritually abnormal for Christians to be unthankful.
   Your level of thanksgiving is directly connected to the measure of contentment that you live with.
4. DON’T QUIT obeying.
   (verse 19)
5. DON’T QUIT listening.
   (verse 20)
   Information + Application = Transformation!
6. DON’T QUIT hating sin.
   (verse 22)
